"Blood In The Water" is a new wave inspired, cinematic, dark pop number. Filled with urgent synths, ethereal guitars, soaring vocals, and a polished production, "Blood" pushes the boundaries of what PTIM has done before. The music has a very danceable beat, but also a sense of longing and melancholia. It evokes the bittersweet feeling of being the last one on the beach, delirious from a long night of partying, laughing about some memories of the evening while regretting others, walking barefoot in the water as the warm sun rises and kisses your face.

Lyrics

Blood in the Water
(written by Chris Frantz)
(performed by Palm Trees In Moscow)

You don’t follow
These natural instincts
It comes from acceptance
The death of us
If you don’t
Have the willpower
To correct this
Lay back
Open your arms up
And accept it

You want to dig for diamonds
I want to swim with sharks

In another room
In an early light
I could talk to you
And get the breathing right
These dangerous winds
Are tearing us apart

You want to dig for diamonds
I want to swim with sharks

You want to dig for diamonds
End up with sulfur
I want to swim with sharks
Blood in the water

You want to dig for diamonds
I want to swim with sharks

You want to dig for diamonds
End up with sulfur
I want to swim with sharks
Blood in the water
